What a novel idea! Kids get to don chef hats and indulge in a variety of activities and consume food much to the pleasure of the parents who don't quite have to go running after them.
I was pleasantly surprised when I stepped into Liwan, the restaurant hosting the brunch.
There's a section designed for kids and they don't quite step out of it primarily because there are way too many things to keep them entertained. From face painting, flash cookery to gaming, there's ample for the kids while the adults get some grub.
While the brunch for kids has its own share of delicious bites including mini sandwiches and a chocolate fountain (they even have a cotton candy stall!), the brunch for adults is quite appetizing. Consisting of international cuisine spread across the restaurant, you can savor delights from Vietnam, Thailand, India, China and a handful for Arabian and European countries.
Expect a variety of salads at the salad station, quiche, freshly made dumplings (you must try the Sticky Rice dumplings), sushi rolls, freekeh with chicken (favorite), stuffed vine leaves, shawarma, freshly baked bread and a handful of other delicious goodies that will keep you content throughout the afternoon.
I always say no meal of mine is complete without dessert. And at this brunch, there's an array of sweetness- think orange creme brulee, chocolate eclairs to the carrot cake and cake pops (there are way too many desserts to name). And if you'd like, you can pop by the kids section and give the chocolate fountain a whirl!
The ambiance, service, food and hospitality at Liwan does not disappoint. I'd give it a 3/5.
