C.Wonder Launches In Dubai, UAE

Let me start off by saying I'd like to purchase almost every single thing at the C.Wonder. Now, let's talk about the store.

C.Wonder is the brainchild of Christopher Burch (designer Tory Burch's ex-husband) and first opened its doors in New York, USA. Fast forward to three years and the UAE witnessed C.Wonder launch it's first Middle East store in Mall of the Emirates.

One look at the store and it will instantly put you in a good mood. The use of color, the interiors, the clothes, shoes, accessories, home decor, and more will make you create a mental wishlist while gawking at the wallets and bracelets. C.Wonder also offers monogramming and other personalized items. It's pretty cool to have you initials monogrammed on a C.Wonder handbag.

I absolutely love these. The honeycomb detailing make the shoes look pretty! This was the first thing that landed on my wishlist.

It was accessories galore on fellow blogger, Ekta's hand. Love the cork bracelets!

This striped jacket seals the deal. It will complete an outfit in a jiffy!

Lipsy Spring/Summer '14 & Kardashian Collection Launch In Dubai

Lipsy is one of the brands that I would usually window shop and be on my way. It felt like it was a store I would go shop in when I had a party or an occasion to attend. That was until now.

The launch of the Spring/Summer '14 collection saw a palette of lace, florals, jewel tones, monochrome and pastels in the form of dresses, tops, trousers and more. People who know me, know that I love lace and florals. The collection offered different catwalk trends reflected in the cut, fall, fabric and design of the pieces.

While the Pandora segment featured jewel tones and contouring dresses...

The Patisserie range featured gorgeous printed florals against a contrasting black background. I love this!

Then, there was the Monochrome range. I'm so glad Lipsy went beyond the usual stripes for this range. How pretty does the floral monochrome dress look?

The Flower Press range featured 3D flowers 'pressed' onto clothing, lace, embellishments, pastels and more. I'd call this Lipsy's prettiest collection..

How gorgeous is that lace dress against black? If you aren't a fan of lace but still want to try it out, check the below dress. Minimal lace against monochrome.

The collection also featured gowns with embellishments and accessories.

Lipsy also launched the Kardashian Kollection featuring a bevy of Spring designs reflecting the dressing style of the Kardashian sisters.

Koton Autumn Winter 2013 Collection Launch In Dubai

Koton launched their beautiful Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection in Dubai a few weeks ago. The collection that caters to men, women, teens and kids has some eye catching  pieces. Staying true to what we've witnessed on the catwalks of Paris and the likes, Koton brings prints, leather, floral and tweed among others back in style.

The women's collection features bold pieces cushioned with feminine prints and vibrant colors. Think leather jackets with the floral print or a pitch black quilted jacket paired with a bejewelled top and a turquoise midi skirt.

Pastels make a comeback in the form of lady-like chic dresses, tops, fitted trousers and jackets. I absolutely loved the pastel pink top with the beads detailing- simplicity at its best.

Shiny textures and bold colors with statement stones/accessories made the entire collection a delight to view.

How cute is this top with the miniature hearts print? I'm going to snap this piece up when I visit Koton next!

I immediately spotted leopard (my favorite print in the world) not only on clothing but also accessories that were washed in studs, spikes and faux fur.

The Men's Collection projected smart casual and business wear. From chinos and tweed jackets to classic denims and check shirts, this collection gives men a variety of smart options. Keep an eye out for those funky looking skinny ties.

The kids and teens wear showcased prints (hello again, leopard print) and rich reds along with accessories.

The Autumn/Winter Collection is now available in Koton stores across the UAE but hurry, they're flying off the shelves like crazy!

Fun Nail Art With Bourjois's South Beach Souvenir's Collection

As you may already know, I love nail polishes and nail art. Scroll through my Instagram or Pinterest account or even Facebook and you'll go, "This nail obsession is a bit too much". Hey- while I appreciate solid nail colors, of late I have developed a liking towards unique designs on nails. You can check my very first DIY polka dots nail art or my Batman nails. The first manicure is not perfect because I didn't have access to a dotting tool (I used a toothpick!).

While we are on the topic of dotting tools and nail designs, let me take this opportunity to tell you why I'm so excited about Bourjois's latest collection.



Inspired by Miami, the South Beach Souvenirs Collection feature vibrant colors when it comes to polishes and lip glosses. And not only that, they have their own caviar version known as Toppings and a dotting tool! I don't have to use the end of a needle or a hair pin to create polka dots on my nails!

Remember the caviar nails craze? Bourjois has them in three different shades.I think the blue and purple versions are going to look so gorgeous on a lighter base (pastels or even mint)!

And here are a few ideas with the dotting tool! Don't you LOVE the color of the base? It's an amazing deep red. (Click on the pics to view a bigger version)
