Keeping Up With N x Marks & Spencer Collaboration

Wednesday, February 19, 2014

I collaborated with Marks & Spencer to feature a few pieces from their collection. One of my friends frequently shops at Marks & Spencer when it comes to formal clothing. I have never stepped foot into the store up until now and surprisingly, liked some of their dresses and vibrant colored tops.

I put together three different looks that you can take from day to evening with a little bit of accessorizing.

Special thanks to:

Model: Farah M
Makeup artist: Farah K
Creative Consultant: Muhammed A

The first look is a favorite of mine. Leopard print will always have a special place in my heart (ask my friends and they will spell it out for you, 'Obsessed'). I love maxi dresses and think this is perfect for the upcoming summer season.

I teamed this number with a metallic gold belt and a statement necklace to give it a glam look.

The second outfit is quite versatile. If you plan on wearing this to work (I would!), team it up with a cropped blazer. To dress down, eliminate the blazer and add a dash of color as it is done here with the mustard colored clutch.

I absolutely love the blue stripes detailing on this dress. Can you spot them?

The final outfit is this pretty apt-for-spring/summer dress. Love the combination of blue against white. This dress was paired  with a skinny red belt and cobalt blue heels.

If I had to pick a favorite, I'd choose the second look. While the leopard print maxi is great, I love the monochrome dress with dashes of blue. The fit and fall is perfect and the barely there blue stripes are the best thing!

All pieces photographed (by your's truly!) are available at Marks and Spencer (except for the sunglasses and clutch). Did you know that the branch at the Dubai Festival Centre is one of M&S' largest international stores?

Which outfit look do you like? Post your comments below!

Though I liked the second outfit I won't be able to wear it as its too short. If I had to choose one I'd pick first one :)

Hey Samareen. For the second outfit, try it on with a pair of black tights :) The dress is gorgeous- you have to see it for yourself.
